FREE PROPERTY FRAUD ALERT INFORMATION AND REGISTRATION

To reduce deed fraud, the Clerk of the Court Recorder sends a courtesy letter to the property owner whenever a Quit Claim Deed is recorded with our office.
As a property owner, you should receive a Notice of Proposed Taxes at the end of August each year. If you do not receive this, you should contact the Property Appraiser. You can also periodically check the Miami-Dade County Property Search to verify the Property Appraiser’s owner of record. If there are any discrepancies, further action on your part would be prudent.
